I am a co-founder and leader of the Leaderful Women project, which for me was inspired through many years of working with women in their development, and insights gained from my PhD research into the complex nature of leadership (work-in-progress).Having worked in corporations for over 20 years, I have had the privilege of developing women and men at both middle management and senior levels, in a wide range of corporations such as LloydsTSB, BBC, NHS, Fresenius Kabi, Latitude Group. My work stretches beyond the UK, to a much wider landscape in Europe, with an ever increasing understanding of cultural differences. My understanding of women was further deepened through a three year study in the late 1990's with Marion Woodman, based in North America. This led to my involvement as an active member of the Marion Woodman Foundation board for eight years, and running of both core and affiliated programmes in support of the Foundation's work.

Susan Adams  United States of America  - this is Susan's own bio ...

I have been a producer/writer of stage, television and film for over 20 years, I produced a number of the 21st century's most important artists including Bill Cosby, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Whoopi Goldberg. During my early years in television as a news producer, exposure to social justice issues and human suffering permanently molded me into an activist and community organizer. I worked in partnership with appointed and elected officials and Hollywood celebrities to promote community change in Los Angeles, the U.S. and abroad.

I have worked on projects ranging from low-income housing for older adults in Los Angeles to international disaster relief. After moving to Prescott AZ in 1994, I have devoted my life to community leadership. In 1996, Yavapai College and the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors partnered to hired me as Director of The Leadership Center with the mission to "build healthier communities by encouraging people to participate in government and design their own future with sustainable economic development and stewardship of resources". The Leadership Center's activities included:

• Workshops in community and organizational leadership.
• Community forums including National Issues Forums as the Director of the Arizona Public Policy Institute for the Kettering Foundation.
• Conflict management for communities in crisis.
• Creating partnerships between multidisciplinary government agencies and citizens to solve or mitigate complex social problems.

For the last 6 years I have been President and Owner of Stone Garden, a consultancy for nonprofits, community organizations, education, and government.

I am really pleased to have the opportunity to be a co-founder of this exciting project.

Barbro Huldén  Finland

Barbro Huldén is an experienced and accredited Gestalt psychotherapist, coach and supervisor, based in Helsinki. She runs her own private practice working with personal and professional development, coaching and supervising leaders and work teams both in business and cultural organisations.

Barbro has spent 14 years, working with companies in the Nordic countries on management development and change. At Luleå Technical University, Sweden, she has worked many years with the development of female leaders. Barbro is a senior leader and a member of the training board in The Gestalt Institute of Scandinavia and was earlier a producer of adult education in the Finnish Broadcast Company.

Charlotte Løvendahl  Sweden

Charlotte combines two threads to her career. She works for the Danish Embassy in Stockholm and is also a professional coach and Gestalt therapist at her practice HenaWellAnn. Charlotte is intensely interested in people development, with children and adults, as individuals and in groups. She works in several languages. Charlotte has been instrumental in bringing the Leaderful Women Project to Sweden. She has organised a Briefing day for senior women in Stockholm and initiated and promoted the major event of 'Becoming Leaderful - Sweden'.
